Waterproof transit cases, rugged rotomoulded containers and engineered foam interiors — specified around the equipment they carry and the journey it has to survive.

An O-ring seal, a pressure-equalisation valve and a 6 mm moulded wall — so what arrives is what you packed, after the flight, the truck and the last kilometre.
A transit case protects nothing on its own — what protects the equipment is the fit between the shell, the foam and the way the load is actually handled. Prestige Industrial specifies both: a case platform sized to the payload, and an interior engineered around the parts, the tools and the people who open it in the field.
Part sizes, fragility, mass distribution, orientation, access order and how often the case is opened.
Internal envelope, wall thickness, wheels and handles, stacking, lid depth and closure system.
CNC-cut foam, dividers, trays, pluck foam and hard inserts with retention and finger access.
Ingress protection, temperature range, UV and salt exposure, pressure equalisation and drainage.
Air-freight dimensions, pallet fit, drop and vibration exposure, lifting points and tie-down.
Custom colour, printed or moulded logo, asset labels, ID plates and inventory marking.
Payload survey · case selection matrix · foam layout drawing · CNC cutting file · sample case with fitted interior · branding artwork proof · packing and inventory documentation
Case platforms — PP waterproof, trolley, air transport, rack, gun and rotomoulded PE
Sealed PP cases with O-ring lid seal and automatic pressure-relief valve
To +90 °C service range across the moulded case range
Foam interiors cut to the actual payload, not to a stock pattern
Air-freight transitSix platforms cover the majority of equipment-transit duty. Each is a configurable base — the shell is standard, the interior is not.

Injection-moulded PP shell with O-ring lid seal, pressure-relief valve and stainless hardware.

Retractable tow handle and moulded-in wheels for single-person movement of heavy payloads.

Removable assembly design with butterfly buckles, four handles and four casters; ships flat.

Collapsible waterproof rackmount housing with automatic pressure-relief valve for mobile racks.

Long-format case for rifles, bows, survey staves, antennas and other extended assemblies.

Rotationally moulded polyethylene with metal drawstring latches — the heavy-duty deployment option.
Moulded polymer shells, corrosion-resistant hardware and a service range of −40 °C to +90 °C.
Continuous O-ring lid seal with automatic pressure-relief valve for air freight and altitude change.
Black, olive, orange and yellow as standard across most sizes; custom colour to order.
Supplied empty, with pluck foam, with egg-crate lid foam or with a CNC-cut custom interior.
Beyond the main transit platforms, we source packaging built for a specific duty — pocket-scale instrument protection, cold-chain transport and deployable field furniture.

PC shell with rubber liner and carabiner for phones, radios, optics, keys and documents.

Insulated boxes for samples, reagents, medical payloads and site catering.

Packs into an airtight watertight case; opens to two desk surfaces, two chairs and four drawers.

Shock-mounted rack container for deployable comms, test and broadcast systems.

Integrated combination and biometric lock options where chain-of-custody matters.

CNC-cut foam, dividers and hard trays designed around the actual payload and its tools.
Where a case is not the answer we specify the rest of the chain — foam-in-place inserts, moulded trays, ESD-safe liners, desiccant and humidity indicators, timber and plywood export crates, pallet fit and container loading plans.

Construction
UAV / imagingStandard construction for each platform. All moulded cases carry an O-ring lid seal; sealed platforms add an automatic pressure-relief valve for air freight.
| Platform | Material | Sealing | Ingress | Wheels | Temperature | Interior options |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Waterproof PP | Injection-moulded polypropylene | O-ring + relief valve | IP67 | Larger sizes | −40 / +90 °C | Empty · pluck · CNC foam |
| Trolley | Injection-moulded polypropylene | O-ring + relief valve | IP67 | Yes + tow handle | −40 / +90 °C | Pluck · CNC foam · trays |
| Air transport | Polypropylene, demountable | Butterfly buckles | IPX5 | 4 casters | −40 / +90 °C | Dividers · LED screen bays |
| Rack case | Polypropylene, collapsible | O-ring + relief valve | IPX5 | Yes | −40 / +90 °C | 19" rack rails, 4U |
| Long / rifle | Polypropylene, 3.6 mm wall | O-ring lid seal | IP67 | 2 wheels on long sizes | −40 / +90 °C | Egg-crate + pluck foam |
| Rotomoulded | Rotationally moulded polyethylene | O-ring + metal drawstring | Watertight | Selected sizes | −40 / +90 °C | Egg foam · shock mounts |
| If the payload is… | Start with | Because |
|---|---|---|
| Hand-carried instruments, cameras, optics, test gear | Waterproof PP | Best protection-to-weight; full CNC foam options across a fine size ladder |
| Over roughly 15 kg, moved by one person | Trolley | Tow handle and moulded wheels remove the two-person lift |
| Consolidated freight, repeat air movements | Air transport | Demountable shell ships flat on the return leg and cuts logistics cost |
| Rack-mounted comms, test or broadcast equipment | Rack case | 19" rails and shock mounting in a sealed, wheeled housing |
| Long, thin assemblies — rifles, staves, antennas | Long / rifle | Extended format with wall thickness to resist point loading |
| Sustained field deployment and rough handling | Rotomoulded | Thick seamless PE wall, metal latches and stackable geometry |
Case footprints are checked against pallet and ULD dimensions so the load plan does not waste a layer.
Handle count and position, wheel type, tie-down points and lift assist are set by filled weight, not empty weight.
Latches, seals, valves, wheels and handles are replaceable, so a damaged case is repaired rather than replaced.

Sustained field deployment, repeated rough handling, external stacking and storage where a thinner injection-moulded shell would fatigue. Common in defence, emergency response, mining and remote infrastructure.
Rotomoulded rack containers accept 19" equipment on internal shock mounts, giving a transportable rack that survives vehicle and air movement without a separate outer crate.

Wall thickness 3.6 mm through the long sizes to resist point loading and flex across the span. Egg-crate lid foam with pluck or CNC base foam retains the payload against end-impact. Suits rifles, bows, survey staves, antennas, light bars and long instruments.
Padlockable hasps as standard; integrated combination and biometric lock panels available where transport regulation or chain-of-custody requires a recorded opening.
Every feature on a transit case exists to solve a specific failure mode. These are the ones worth checking before a platform is signed off.
Continuous moulded seal compressed by the latches — the primary barrier against water and dust ingress.
Balances pressure between inside and outside after altitude or temperature change, so the lid still opens.
Egg-crate lid layer holds the payload down against the base foam and absorbs lid-side impact.
Scored base foam plucked to shape on site, or replaced with a CNC-cut interior.

Labor-saving over-centre latch with self-opening guard and a lock hole for padlock or TSA barrel.
Measured shell section on the larger platforms — the reason the case resists point loading and stacking.
Comfort-grip handle, plus wheels running on stainless steel pins that survive washdown.
Recessed panel for asset marking; lid and base geometry interlock so filled cases stack safely.

| Design item | Options | Application considerations |
|---|---|---|
| Shell material | Injection-moulded PP · rotationally moulded PE · PC micro cases | Impact energy, wall thickness, weight, UV exposure and cost per unit |
| Sealing | O-ring lid seal, gasket profile, relief valve, drain plug | Immersion vs splash duty, altitude change, washdown and condensation |
| Foam system | Pluck foam · CNC-cut · layered densities · anti-static grades | Fragility, mass, retention, finger access and repeat open cycles |
| Hardware | Latches, hinges, padlock hasps, handles, wheels, tie-down points | Filled weight, handling frequency and field replaceability |
| Marking | Moulded logo, pad print, laser, printed labels, ID plate | Abrasion, chemical exposure, asset tracking and brand requirements |
Sealed PP platforms are built to IP67 — dust-tight and protected against temporary immersion, subject to the agreed test scope.
Air transport and rack platforms are rated IPX5 against water jets from any direction.
Moulded shells hold their properties from −40 °C to +90 °C, covering hold, tarmac and desert exposure.
Two cases with the same shell can perform completely differently. What separates them is the foam: its density, how the cavities are cut, how the payload is retained and how quickly a tired operator can get the right item out and put it back in the right place.

Rigid cell partitions in custom sizes and colours, with egg-crate lid foam over the top.

Padded dividers repositioned on hook-and-loop — for camera bodies, lenses and mixed kit.

Lightweight nylon cells and pockets where foam would waste volume or add mass.

Lid-mounted document pockets and tool rolls that use the otherwise-dead lid volume.
Custom shell colour, moulded or printed logo, pad-printed part identifiers, laser-marked asset numbers, recessed ID plates and inventory labels — specified so that marking survives the same environment as the case.
Where models exist we cut foam directly from geometry, with clearance and draft applied for real-world handling.
Where they do not, we work from the physical payload — measured, laid out and proven in a sample before release.
Once approved, the cutting file is the master record, so case 200 is identical to case 1.

Broadcast & mediaA survey crew opens its case twenty times a day and needs instant visual stock-take. A defence pallet is opened twice a year and needs to survive everything in between. Same shell, completely different interior — which is why we specify the interior separately from the platform.
Where a client runs dozens of identical kits, one approved cutting file keeps every case the same and makes a missing item obvious.
Where the contents change per job, we favour repositionable dividers and lid organisers over cut foam.
Where the movement is regulated, lock type, marking and documentation are specified alongside the case.
Wall thickness, sink marks, weld lines, warp and dimensional stability across the shell.
O-ring seating and continuity, latch clamp load, lid gap and valve function.
Latches, hinges, hasps, handles, wheels and tow handles cycled and checked under load.
Cavity dimensions, depth, retention fit and finger access verified against the released cutting file.
Colour match, print registration, adhesion and cosmetic acceptance on visible faces.
Filled weight, closure, labelling and shipping-carton fit checked as delivered.
We recommend proving one fully fitted case with the real payload before a fleet order — loaded, closed, carried, opened and repacked by the people who will actually use it. Foam changes are cheap at sample stage and expensive at case 200.
